About Us

Friendx of Africa is a nonprofit organization that is fully ran and managed by volunteers from various professions. Established in 2006, its members are committed to improving the quality of life for people in African nations through better access to basic healthcare and education.

We partner with local health workers and institutions in identified African nations to provide free medical clinics to the needy, especially women and children that are unable to afford even the most basic of healthcare.
Friendx of Africa help to reduce preventable diseases in African nations by raising awareness on diseases endemic to each region; organizing health education classes on preventive care; and equipping local clinics and healthcare professionals in African nations with medical equipment and supplies to treat diseases.

Access to healthcare in many African nations is limited. In most rural parts of the Continent, it is almost non-existent. Many rural dwellers, especially children and women suffer and even die from diseases that can be easily eliminated or reduced through health care education, life-style changes and basic medical care. The medical outreaches done by Friendx of Africa to rural people in some African nations are the only healthcare that makes the difference between life and death.

You can partner with Friendx of Africa in the following ways:

  • Donate funds to the Organization
  • Donate medical equipment, supplies and medications
  • Volunteer as a member of a contingent on a medical mission trip.
  • Provide professional medical services if you are a doctor, nurse, dentist, optometrist etc.

Every donation to Friendx of Africa is tax deductible. All funds received are used 100% for the program expenses. No donation is used for administrative expenses.
